A primeira adaptação para a televisão de um herói da DC Comics produzida pela Filmation foi lançada em 1966 para a rede americana CBS.
No Brasil o desenho estreou na TVS em 1978 sendo apresentado dentro faixa intitulada Aquaman
As gírias adolescentes dos heróis eram estranhas até para a época, eles se valiam de expressões como “com mil perucas” ou “ventosas me suguem” para se comunicar. Além disso, os titãs se tratavam por nomes como “Chapinha”, “Velhinho”, “Bonequinha”, entre outras expressões.
A dublagem da Herbert Richers mudou os nomes de muitos personagens traduzindo-os de forma literal.

Se arranjarem um anime que passou na TV brasileira no final dos anos 70 e início dos 80 este sim é raridade. Na Bahia passava num bom horário mas no RJ e SP ninguém que perguntei o conhecia ou ouviu falar.

História de uma criança da idade das cavernas mas com uma temática não tão infantil assim. Lembro do episódio que morreu alguém, acho que o pai dele, foi bem triste pra mim na época.

Na verdade, não existe um desenho chamado “Jovens Titãs” antes dos anos 2000. Esses 3 episódios pertencem a uma outra animação chamada “The Aquaman/Superman Hour”, na qual a equipe fez sua primeira aparição. De qualquer forma, é bastante interessante!
